In the survey that was done by Bloomberg, Bosnian Vedran Glisic has an IQ of 175, which placed him at the tenth position of the list of the smartest people in the world.
Glisic’s hobbies are music, mathematics, and chess, and his IQ of 175 is higher than, let’s say, Stephen Hawking’s, who is the famous astrophysicist whose IQ is 165. However, we have to take in consideration that Hawking is 73, and that he is suffering from a rare type of sclerosis (ALS).
According to this study, the smartest person on the planet is Terence Tao, who was born in Australia. This genius has IQ of 230, and he won the International Olympiad in mathematics at the age of 10, he obtained his college degree with 16 and completed his Ph.D. as 20-year-old.
The second smartest person in the world is Christopher Hirata, an American physicist, whose IQ is 225, while the third place belongs to Kim Ung Yong, Korean, who started working at NASA as an 8-year-old.
The fourth place on this list went to American Christopher Langan (IQ 195), and in the fifth place is another American, Rick Rosner with the IQ of 192.
On the sixth place is a celebrity person. The legendary Russian chess player Gary Kasparov, who is a former member of the chess club Bosna Sarajevo, whose IQ is 190, and who is in the sixth position of the smartest people on the planet and definitely the smartest athlete.
The ninth place belongs to the co-owner of Microsoft, Paul Allen, whose IQ is 178, while Glisic is the tenth smartest person of the world.
