z-komsicChairman of the B&H Presidency, in a statement to ‘Dnevni Avaz’, reacted to the decision of the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić to ‘freeze his participation in the trilateral meetings with B&H, Turkey and Serbia’.

‘’It is important for us that the bilateral relations of B&H with Turkey and Serbia are good. Everything else is a matter of relations between other countries and we play no part in that’’, said Komšić to Avaz.

His remarks came after the media announced that the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić ceased his participation in the trilateral meetings between Serbia, B&H and Turkey as a result of the statement of the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who recently said in Prizren that ‘Kosovo is Turkey and Turkey is Kosovo’.

Nikolić said that he expects an official apology from Ankara. Until this happens, he will not participate in the trilateral meetings.

The Ambassador of Turkey to Serbia Mehmet Kemal Bozaj could not comment on Nikolić’s position. He added that he reported everything to Ankara.
