Zeljko Komsic, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), visited Gradacac on the occasion of Golden Lilies Day and paid tribute to his comrades at the memorial to martyrs and fallen fighters.
“I always think about the people I knew who died in the war or died after the war. I always go back to that time and wonder if it was some crazy courage or naivety. But as a person, I really feel proud, proud because I chose the right side when it was necessary and when it was logical, which is to be in the Army of the Republic of BiH (RBiH), that is the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RBiH,” he stated.
Moreover, Komsic said that in BiH we have periods when the situation calms down or when it escalates.
“Everything that is swept under the carpet will meet us at one point. All this false political correctness, which is used to make a political trend, does not produce results,” he pointed out.
He emphasized that BiH has many challenges, and one of the biggest is how to make the country a society of equal people who have the right to live and be equal on every inch of their land.
“We want to live like the rest of the normal world. If it is our sin that we do not want to enter into speculations with fascists, bandits, and criminals, then we will bear that sin, but I think it is not about any sin, but about striving for a normal life for us and our children,” he concluded, Klix.ba reports.
