Komsic with Congressmen: US Permanent Commitment to the Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity of BiH

The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, met with Congressmen Mike Turner and Donald Norcross.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Komšić, congratulated Congressman Turner on being awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Sarajevo, highlighting his long-standing support for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Chairman Komšić particularly emphasized that it is essential that the Southern Interconnection project begins as soon as possible, in order to ensure long-term energy security and independence for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a strategic interest of the state and its citizens.

The US congressmen reaffirmed the strong and lasting commitment of the United States of America to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized the importance of preserving peace, security and stability, the Presidency of BiH announced.
