President of People and Justice Elmedin Konaković said after today’s meeting of representatives of the Eight and HDZ in Konjic that the Eight will not block processes where the entities have jurisdiction, but also where the jurisdiction of Bosnia and Herzegovina is, they do not agree that the processes should be led by the entities.
“I fully understand that we are still in a narrative in which the focus is on everything we cannot agree on and that these are still the topics that probably interest our public the most. We are trying to change that,” Konaković said.
He added that it is certain that SNSD, PDP and SDS cannot agree on some things, not even in the format of the Eight.
“Nevertheless, the fact is that this is a completely different process in which we at least found the strength to prioritize what we can agree on,” said the NIP president.
He pointed out that they are fully ready to support all projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina, both in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Brčko District, as well as in the Republika Srpska, respecting the competences of the institutions.
“Where the jurisdiction of Bosnia and Herzegovina is, we do not agree that the processes are led by the entities, where it is the entity’s, it does not occur to us to block something. Every stamp that enters the unified VAT system is equally important to us,” Konaković said.
The president of NiP emphasized that he is aware that one trip to the game in Banja Luka causes bitterness among a part of the public.
“We should all ask ourselves whether we have really come to the point where even such an act cannot be commented on normally,” Konaković believes.
He added that BiH has a chance for candidate status as early as December 15.
“You know very well what potentials are offered to our economy, what it means for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is tired of political conflict. Those who do not recognize such a momentum, I think do not want the good of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We recognize it,” said Konaković, Klix.ba reports.
