Elmedin Konaković, Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, reacted to the statements of Croatian MEP Željana Zovko, who said that his call to High Representative Christian Schmidt to resolve the situation regarding the election of the Minister of Security of BiH was an “attack on the Constitution”.
In addition, Zovko called Schmidt an “unelected High Representative”, and Konaković told her that she would also expose her lies throughout Europe and the world.
“She enthusiastically welcomed the amendments to the Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Election Law by Željana Zovko when Schmidt changed the rules on election night”, said Konaković.
He added that the top of the Croatian Government and the HDZ BiH did the same.
“The top of the Croatian Government, the HDZ BiH and some other political representatives did the same. For Zovko, Christian Schmidt was not “unelected” at the time.
She called it “an action to save BiH and a return to the right track”. Today, she uses Milorad Dodik’s vocabulary, in fact, she quotes him”, said Konaković.
He also added that “at the beginning he announced that lies about Bosnia and Herzegovina would be exposed in Brussels”.
“Today, when Europe is strongly opposing Russian influence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željana Zovko applauds and protects that influence.
I announced at the beginning that we would expose lies about Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels, Washington, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Vienna and other destinations. So will the lies that Željana Zovko spreads,” Konaković wrote.
