Kosarac: The Council of Ministers of BiH will not discuss the German Minister

Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Staša Košarac announced that the institution will not discuss German Minister Ana Lirmann, who was declared persona non grata in this Bosnian entity by the Government of Republika Srpska.

“Such a session will not take place, because this extremely unimportant issue will not receive my support to be on the agenda,” Košarac stressed.

According to Košarac, “there are many examples when Bosniak ministers did not support the Council of Ministers discussing important issues for the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the three constituent peoples and all citizens.”

“Now they would like to put a persona non grata on our agenda?! A person who lied and insulted the Republika Srpska and its leadership in the most brutal way. A person who violated not only diplomatic norms, but also all elements of decent behavior. To each his own,” Košarac wrote on Instagram.

As a reminder, the Minister of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the President of Our Party, Edin Forto, has strongly condemned the expulsion of German Minister Ana Lirmann from Republika Srpska.

On this occasion, he requested an urgent session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We strongly condemn the expulsion of the German Minister from Republika Srpska. This is an unprecedented diplomatic scandal in which RS officials endangered the life and safety of a member of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and her team. This is an incalculable damage that has been caused primarily to Republika Srpska, but also to Bosnia and Herzegovina itself,” Forto stressed.
