The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, held a meeting with the Acting High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Louis Crishock, and informed him about the work of the Council of Ministers and the progress made in the past period. At the meeting, it was pointed out that the stability and functionality of institutions, along with the compromise of political representatives in all areas, continue to be the focus of work, the Council of Ministers of BiH announced.
Kristo said that the European path of our country and the dynamics of reforms, despite all the challenges, remain the highest priorities.
As she stated, the Council of Ministers of BiH has shown that it can be a generator of all positive processes when there is a political will to make the necessary steps in all fields.
The meeting also discussed the need for dialogue on open issues that will enable the equality of all three constituent peoples, as provided for in the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that “the process of democratic transition in accordance with European values is necessary for us, in order to achieve permanent stability and security”.
Earlier today, Krišto spoke with the head of the European Union Delegation to BiH and the EU’s special representative in BiH, Luigi Sorec, about the current situation in BiH, the country’s European path and the Reform Agenda.
Krišto particularly highlighted the problems faced by carriers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the countries of the region, and stressed the need to find solutions to ensure their smooth operation and movement on the European Union market.
The interlocutors also discussed the continuation of reform activities and the importance of continued cooperation with the institutions of the European Union.
