The 460th traditional jumps from the Old Bridge in Mostar were held today, and the victories were won by Evald Krnić (head jumps) and Igor Kazić (foot jumps).
Thousands of Mostar residents and visitors attended the jumps of local and regional “ikars”, as the jumpers are fondly called.
34 competitors competed, divided into two categories; 18 jumpers on the head and 16 on the feet.
The organizer of the competition is the Diving Club “Mostari”, and the members of the jury were Alica Jakirović, Haris Škoro, Haris Mehić, Haris Džemat and Haris Šiširak.
They evaluated all jumps with marks from 5 to 10. The ten best jumpers went to the second round where their points were added to the previous round.
Evald Krnić triumphed in head diving with 97.5 points and won this competition for the fourth time. Dino Bajrić (96) and Danko Dangubić (93) placed second and third.
With a maximum performance of 100 points, Igor Kazić won the first place in the jumps, taking home the gold medal for the 11th time, while the silver and bronze medals went to Harun Bajgorić (95.5) and Vanja Gološ (93.5).
