Olympic Team of BiH to be officially presented and sent off Today

In the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Olympic team of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Winter Olympic Games in Milan – Cortina will be officially presented and sent off today.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented at the biggest sports event by five athletes: alpine skiers Elvedina Muzaferija, Esma Alić and Marko Šljivić, and Nordics Strahinja Erić and Teodora Delipara, who will compete in cross-country skiing.

Six coaches are also traveling to Italy: Nicola Quaquarelli, Edhem Bajrić, Faris Zuhrić and Zeljko Šljivić (alpine skiing), and Mladen Plakalović and Dragan Jeftović (cross-country skiing), as well as physiotherapist Petra Baumkirchner.

The head of the mission is Said Fazlagić, Secretary General of the BiH Olympic Committee.

ZOI Milano Cortina 2026 will be held from February 6 to 22.
