dukat_vindija_mlijeko-288x216For the third consecutive year the company Dukat BiH as a member of the Lactalis Group, the world’s largest producer of milk and its products, funds with scholarships talented experts in the sector of food technology in order to graduate in France  and to improve their knowledge and experience.

Even this year the competition was strong due to strict selection criteria and among numerous candidates from across the region, for international scholarship are selected two young food technology engineers from BiH, Ammar Bukvić (23) from Gračanica and Eldar Karšić (25) from Sarajevo. In three years of international competition, for the first time are selected candidates from our country. Bukvić and Karšić have today signed the contract with representatives of the BiH Dukat, and next month they will travel to France.

“For me it is a great honor that Lactalis showed confidence and chose me among such a large number of candidates. This is a big step in my career and I’m glad that I’ll learn from the best”,  said Ammar Bukvić.

During two-year post-graduate studies, they will attend the prestigious French University L’Ecole Supérieure d’Agriculture (ESA), in the city of Angers. Scholarships will fully cover the financial costs of two years study, and the six month organized learning of the French language and culture in order to facilitate the students’ integration into society and with the adaptation to the new environment.

“I’m very excited. I would like to thank Lactalis and Dukat BiH who trusted in me. I am ready to acquire new knowledge and to bring this knowledge to my country”, said Eldar Karšić.

In addition to the theoretical part of the training at ESA, students will attend practical classes in the Lactalis group, which will greatly enhance their knowledge. After successful completion of studying, they will receive an internationally recognized diploma, and will be offered to start a career in one of Lactalis factories.

“Lactalis Group has recognized the importance of investing in the community, and three years ago we decided to start a program for awarding international scholarships for postgraduate study at the prestigious School for Agricultural ESA. To students we wish much success and happiness during their studies in France, and we hope that with pride, they will hold the title of Lactalis scholarship”, said the director of Dukat BiH Tomaž Žnidarič.
Lactalis Group and Dukat BiH will continue to promote young and successful people and through that to contribute to the improvement and development of Bosnian society.
