Lagumdžija Received Representatives of the EBRD and UNDP

300501403amAccording to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdzija received in separate meetings in Sarajevo, the vice-president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and development (EBRD) András Simor and the United Nations resident Coordinator and resident Representative, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina Yuri Afanasiev. These meetings were scheduled in order to prepare successfully for donor conference dedicated to victims of floods.

The modalities for extending the cooperation between B&H and the EBRD, as a need for reconstruction of areas endangered by floods were in the focus of the conversation between Zlatko Lagumdzija, who was governor of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the EBRD, and the vice-president of the EBRD András Simor.

 

Moreover, they talked about the opening of new favorable credit conditions. In addition, they spoke about the possibility that the money from the loan arrangements of EBRD for B&H be directed to the urgent need to repair the corollaries of floods and landslides.

The emphasis will be put on the process of preserving jobs and the recovery of small and medium enterprises.
