Lagumdzija: The West cannot allow Borders to be redrawn and legalize Genocide 25 Years after the War

Unofficial diplomatic documents appearing in our region these days, which also concern Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), continue to provoke numerous comments from political officials in the region. Zlatko Lagumdzija spoke about the feasibility of the claims from the Slovenian “non-paper”.

As Professor Lagumdzija emphasizes, when it comes to the so-called non-paper documents, in the case of BiH the only such document that came through official channels is the Croatian non-paper.

“The only paper that is official is the Croatian ‘non-paper’ that arrived through official channels and received the support of five countries of the European Union (EU). What we are witnessing is the result of the underground work of the darkest European international group that exists. It is the group that supported the aggression on BiH and the one that denies the genocide in Srebrenica to this day. It is stronger now than it has ever been and you have several prime ministers who belong to that structure, like Jansa and Orban, ” Lagumdzija told at the beginning of the conversation.

Such unofficial documents, as Lagumdzija points out, are a reflection of the power of such a group of politicians in the EU.

“It is a reflection of the strength of the European black right-wing politics, while on the other hand, there is the instability of the region, especially after the change of government in Montenegro and the complete disintegration of ruling structures in BiH, which culminated during a pandemic. It is happening now as a kind of field preparation on how far one can go in this whole story, ” the Professor noted.

When it comes to the realization of scenarios from non-paper documents, Lagumdzija points out that it is possible only with a war of all against all, which would have repercussions on the entire geostrategic scene.

“In theory, there are only a few possibilities to realize such scenarios. The first possibility is for the Parliament of BiH to reach an agreement on peaceful separation. It is possible if two-thirds of the House of Representatives, including the entity majority from both entities, accept such a proposal and if all three clubs of the people accept this option by two-thirds. That is impossible. The second option is to make some kind of Berlin Congress or Yalta for the big players to agree and sort out the problems. It will not happen when it comes to the Western Balkans, because it is clear to everyone that it is a kind of rounded space of NATO, since we do not border directly with Russia. The third possibility is that someone starts forcibly reshaping BiH, but even that scenario is not possible. No one is strong at the moment to do such a thing, and if anyone started, he would be stopped according to the decisions of the Security Council, that guarantee the Dayton Agreement, which would violate the agreement and would cause the intervention of Western forces, ” Lagumdzija stated.

When it comes to BiH’s response to non-paper from Slovenia, a real question arises, and that is why the members of the Presidency of BiH waited 45 days for an answer. Lagumdzija thinks that the whole case could have been resolved differently.

“Accusing Pahor of working together with Jansa is the same thing as accusing Covic of working with Komsic. They should have immediately said about all of this and thanked Pahor at the press conference for telling them that such information exists. This is happening at a time when the whole public is nervous about respirators, a lack of vaccines, and the collapse of the economy… It is happening at a time when the logical questions are how we are third in the world when it comes to the number of dead, and the only country where more people have been vaccinated outside the borders, than in our country, and why the economy is in the state in which it is. This is just like God’s giving “, Lagumdzija said confidently.

Everyone interpreted Blinken’s letter in their own way

Besides the unofficial documents that are currently being most mentioned in the context of BiH, many parts of the letter sent by Secretary of State of United States (U.S.), Antony Blinken to members of the BiH Presidency are still being analyzed. As Lagumdzija emphasizes, BiH officials interpreted that letter at their findings, Klix.ba writes.
