zlatko-lagumdzijaThe use of chemical weapons, especially against innocent civilians is highly reprehensible and once again calls on the international community for a more active approach in resolving the crisis in Syria.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Zlatko Lagumdžija said this today when asked to comment on the latest developments in Syria, and a statement of the US Secretary of State John Kerry, who condemned the use of chemical weapons.

Lagumdžija said that he hopes that the team of investigators of the UN, which ended the collection of evidence in Syria, could very soon disclose the results of the investigation.

‘’Everyday evidence of suffering, bloodshed, and horrors that are happening on the streets of the devastated streets of Syria, is an alarm that the international community should stop ‘whining’ about who supports whom, and how to resolve the crisis in Syria. Once again, the international community should be called upon to do all it can to stop the bloodshed in Syria’’, he said.
