Land Transportation in BiH recorded an Increase

exportTotal seasonally adjusted transportation and storage turnover in BiH in first quarter of 2017 decreased by 5.4% compared with the fourth quarter 2016.

The decrease in turnover was recorded in divisions of Land transport and transport via pipelines by 2.4%, Warehousing and support activities for transportation by 24.8%, and Postal and courier activities by 3.3%. Total seasonally adjusted transportation and storage index in the first quarter of 2017 recorded an increase of 25.6% compared with the base year (2010).

Land transport and transport via pipelines index recorded a growth by 29.6%, Warehousing and support activities for transportation by 22.4% and Postal and courier activities by 20.4%, compared to the base (2010) year.

Total transportation and storage turnover in BiH, working day adjusted, decreased by 0.5% in the first quarter of 2017 compared with the same quarter of 2016. The decrease in turnover was recorderd in Warehousing and support activities for transportation by 20.8, and in Postal and courier activities by 1.9%. The increase of turnover was recorded in Land transport and transport via pipelines by 3.0%
