Landslide Repair worth more than half a million BAM started in Vogošća

works3On the territory of the Local Community Vogošća I, in the settlement Dreskovača, representatives of the company “Mibral” Ltd. Sarajevo started with the works on the repair of the landslide “Dreskovača.”

The works are performed on the construction of 163 meters long retaining walls, as well as laying pipes for drainage in a length of 2.17 kilometers. The drainage system will collect underground water and drain it to the river Vogošća. The project also includes construction of 795 meters long precipitation drainage.

Works are worth more than 500,000 BAM. The funds are provided by UNDP B&H and the Municipality Vogošća.

Supervision of works is carried out by the IPSA Institute from Sarajevo. Depending on the weather conditions, the construction works should be finished in 90 days.

With the implementation of the project, more than 30 residential and a large number of extra facilities, which are located in the village Dreskovača, will be protected,” as stated from the Cabinet of the Mayor of Vogošća.
