The best Bosnian judoka Larisa Cerić won a bronze medal at the Grand Slam in Baku, one of the strongest tournaments on the planet.

In the first round in the +78 kg category, she won against Austria’s Hoellwaert, then defeated Milica Žabić from Serbia, after which she was defeated by Japan’s Asahina. She beat the Italian Tavano in the repechage and the Russian Startseva, who performed under a neutral flag, in the fight for bronze.

With a new 500 points for the Olympic norm, she strengthened her position among athletes who are safe travelers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, wrote on her Facebook account the selector of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Branislav Crnogorac national team.

The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Anđela Samardžić, Aleksandra Samardžić and Toni Miletić, also performed in Baku, who achieved one victory each and won 160 points, which raises the hope that one of them could be among the travelers to Paris.
