Launch of Project on Improvement of Land Administration

The signing of the agreement between the entity administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs and the Government of Sweden will take place tomorrow at the Holiday Inn hotel in Sarajevo at 10:30 AM.

The Ambassador of Sweden to BiH Bosse Hedberg will sign the agreement with the Director for the RS Geodetic and Property Affairs Tihomir Gligorić and the FBiH Director of Geodetic and Property Affairs Željko Obradović.

The signing of the agreement would officially launch the project “Capacity Building for Improvement of Land Administration and Procedures in BiH”, which is worth 6.950.000 KM.

The project would last 6 years, and its goal is to establish a more efficient, safer and reliable system of land administration in BiH, and it would be focused on institution building, education and collection of knowledge and experience.

The proposed project would also include technical assistance to the project “Registration of Property in BiH”, which is financed by credits from the World Bank and focuses on technical aspects, primarily the harmonization of data between the land registry.
