Lejla Hodžić Received Special Award by the Japanese Foreign Trade Council

lejlahodžićLejla Hodžić, student of the second year of International Law at the American University in B&H (AUBiH) is one of the winners at the competition in writing essays, organized every year by the Japanese Foreign Trade Council.

The council traditionally organizes every year a competition for the best essay with the purpose to encourage students, researches and business communities to express their beliefs and opinions on subjects that have international importance.

This year, among 195 essays from 41 countries, 4 authors received awards.

Lejla Hodžić, as the youngest winner, won the special award of 100 000 Jen. She wrote an essay on “Japan – Insight to the global future” – was communicated from the AUBiH.

She also won a trip to Japan in order to participate at the ceremony of awards where she had the chance to meet the directors of some of the world famous Japanese companies, the diplomatic choir and the future leaders of the global economy.
