Refik Lendo (SDA), who was voted into the leadership of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina by the FBiH Parliament alongside Lidija Bradara (HDZ BiH)) and Igor Stojanović (SDP BiH), said today that he expects the leaders of the SDA, HDZ and SDP to agree on who will be the prime minister of the Federation of BiH so that an agreement can be reached on who will be the FBiH president and vice presidents.

Lendo said at the press conference in the FBiH Parliament that he had prepared and sent two letters today.

“One letter is with a proposal to my colleagues Lidija Bradara and Igor Stojanović to hold a joint meeting next Friday at 10 a.m., while the second letter is a request to party leaders Bakir Izetbegović, Dragan Čović and Nermin Nikšić to come to an agreement by Friday and make it easier for us as on what way to determine the president and vice-presidents of FBiH,” said Lendo.

He added that the Federation of BiH is complex and that he does not want it to become more complicated, that is, he wants the processes to go as quickly as possible.

“For us to be able to appoint the president and vice presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we need to know who will be the prime minister because they cannot be from the same people, and for that reason I sent this second request. SDP, SDA and HDZ were tasked by the Parliament to agree as soon as possible. Therefore, there is no blockage, these three parties must come to an agreement, and the three of us from the leadership of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina need to appoint the prime minister and the FBiH Government,” emphasized Lendo.

He emphasized that the process cannot take place without SDA and that he expects the presidents of the three political parties will meet and agree, Fena reports.
