Library in Potočari Opened

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAA newly built library in which is promoted the book of prof.dr. Aida Abadžić- Hodžić, titled “Selman Selmanagić i Bauhaus” opened yesterday at the memorial center Srebrenica – Potočari, Memorial and Cemetery for victims of genocide, July 1995.

The financial support for implementation of this project gave the Embassy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in B&H. The Ambassador of this Embassy Eid – Al-Thaqafi attended the official opening of library and the book promotion.

President of Board of Memorial Center Sadik Ahmetović and the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in B&H Eid – Al-Thaqafi addressed the audience at the opening ceremony.

Two young people, who lost their fathers during Srebrenica genocide officially opened the library.

Memorial center started last year and this year is ongoing with the implementation of the concrete projects on construction of phase II memorial components of Memorial Center.
