Family of Edin Zejcirovic from Ratkovic near Celici, who was brutally murdered late last year, is awaiting the start of the trial of four suspects responsible for the death of their son. While Brcko investigators are conducting an investigation, crying parents are collecting signatures for a petition seeking a change in the criminal law to impose a life sentence for all those who have committed the most serious crimes in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In December last year, residents of Bosnia-Herzegovina were shocked by the details of the liquidation of 31-year-old Edin Zejcirovic, who was abducted primarily, then brutally tortured and eventually killed near Brcko. His body was found in the Sava River and Brcko District police found the suspects in the short term.

These are Suvad Djedovic, Suan Halilovic, Nihad Hukic and Samid Sabanovic, against whom the Brcko Prosecution has opened an investigation to prove the crimes of abduction and murder. They are currently in custody. Edin Zejcirovic’s parents last saw him on November 17th last year.

Unfortunately, after he left home, he never came back alive. His father Enver had his last coffee with him the day before, and in an interview with Klix.ba news portal he points out that the first worrying moments occurred on December 18, since Edin had not returned home and his mobile phone was not available.

As the days passed, the family felt worse, and the various information that came to them was especially difficult. Some gave hope that he was alive, unfortunately, this was not true.
