Yesterday, the titles of 13 novels nominated for the literary award ‘Meša Selimović’ has been published in Tuzla, reports source.ba
The selector of BIH Edin Pobrić has chosen two novels ‘Planet Friedman’ by Josip Mlakić and ‘Sjeme smrti’ by Dževad Karahasan.
From Croatia, selector Branko Čegec nominated 4 novels: ‘Bellodonna’ by Daša Drndić, ‘Božanska dječica’ by Tatjana Gromača ‘Planet Friedman’ by Mlakić and ‘Detektor Istine’ by Igor Rajki.
Selector Ružica Marjanović chose the following novels from Serbia ‘Dugovječnost’ by Svetislav Basara, ‘Nesreća I stvarne potrebe’ by Ivančica Đerić and ‘Zoja’ by Mira Otašević, while from Montenegro five novels were nominated by Vlatko Simunović: ‘Karnera’ by Milorad Popović, ‘Odlaganje. Parezija’ by Andrej Nikolaidis, ‘Atelanska igra’ by Dragana Kršenković-Brković, ‘Life Lift’ by Slavica Petrović and ‘Uspavanka za Vuka Ničijeg’ by Ksenija Popović.
The 7 000 BAM award will be given in September at the 13th Literary Meetings ‘Cum grano salis’
