Lufthansa, which owns Eurowings, Swiss, Brussels and Austrian Airlines, has extended the cancellation period for flights to Tel Aviv until December 31 due to developments in the Middle East, Anadolu reports.
The Lufthansa Group said in a statement that the flight plan was made due to the latest developments in the Middle East.
According to the statement, flights to Tel Aviv have been suspended until December 31.
Lufthansa Group previously announced that flights to Tehran, the capital of Iran, have been canceled until January 31, 2025, and to Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, until February 28, 2025.
Due to growing security concerns following the Israeli attacks, Lufthansa has recently extended the cancellation of flights to the Middle East several times, Federalna writes.
