Madbouli thanks President Sisi for assigning him to form new Government

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli thanked President Abdel Fattah al Sisi for assigning him to form a new government.

Following his selection to lead the new cabinet, the premier vowed to make every effort to continue serving the nation and citizens.

The re-instated prime minister noted that specific presidential directives in several fields will be implemented after the new government is formed.

Madbouly commended the strenuous efforts made by former ministers and governors, as well as their deputies, amid the current difficult circumstances and unprecedented challenges.

Egypt’s Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly presented on Monday the government’s resignation to President Abdel Fattah al Sisi.

President Sisi assigned Madbouly to form a new government of ministers with distinguished competencies, experience, and capabilities.

Sisi requested that the new government work to achieve several goals, including: maintaining national security, continuing political efforts, following up on security stability, combating terrorism files, developing culture files, national awareness, and moderate religious discourse.

Sisi also placed the issue of building the Egyptian human being on the list of priorities, especially in health and education.

President Sisi directed that the new government should continue the economic reform file, focusing on attracting internal and external investments, encouraging private sector growth, and making efforts to reduce price increases and inflation and control markets.

President Sisi also assigned the current government to continue performing its duties and tasks until the formation of the new government
