Man killed his Spouse in BiH, Police say

A man of initials M.S. (born in 1963) was arrested this morning in Tuzla on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of murder around 00:15.

“Police station Tuzla was informed by M.S. that she received a call from her father who said that he killed her mother K.S. from Tuzla. Around 00:20 o’clock, M.S. from Tuzla voluntarily entered the premises of Police Station Zapad and confirmed the allegations of the report. The patrol of PS Zapad was sent to the scene, as well as the Emergency Medical Service of the Tuzla Health Center, and the body of K.S. was found and at 12:30 a.m. the doctor of the Emergency Medical Service confirmed the death of the named person,” according to the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Tuzla Canton.

The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton was immediately informed about the incident, and the on-duty prosecutor and the investigative team of the Criminal Police Sector of the Police Directorate of the MIA TK went to the scene.

After the investigation, where it was established that M.S. in an alcoholic state, the same person was also given medical assistance, and minor physical injuries to the named person were also ascertained at the University Medical Center Tuzla.

“By order of the prosecutor on duty, person M.S. (1963) in the early hours of the morning, was deprived of liberty due to suspicions that he had committed a murder and he is in the detention room of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the TC, where, according to the agreement with the prosecutor, after the criminal investigation, he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the TK for further processing,” they state in the Police Directorate of the MIA of TC.

The motive of the murder has not been announced.
