Rajko-BovanRajko Bovan from Trebinje found a bag full of money at the landfill Obodina in an old mattress, which he brought home in order to burn it and sell metal from it.

According to Rajko, there were around 40 banknotes of 100 EUR, and there were those of 50 EUR as well.

I did not count it, said Rajko whom never occurred to keep the money because he says “the peaceful conscience is priceless.”

In the meantime, the owner of the mattress was walking around Obodina and seeking for the mattress in which she kept the money, and at the last moment, when the fire was already burning, Rajko got a phone call and ripped the mattress.

He found a bag full of money. Without any thinking, he called the woman and returned the money, and she thanked him with 100 EUR.

It was, according to him, a pure luck, because if she called just a few minutes later, the money would burst into flames.

Bovan usually takes old mattresses from Obodina landfill and burn them in order to sell iron springs from them.
