The Council of Ministers instructed the Public Procurement Agency to make a proposal for a decision on the mandatory application of preferential domestic treatment for one year, starting from June 1st this year in the percentage of 30%.

“Despite certain restrictions arising from the Stabilization and Association Agreement, this measure is adopted in order to help the domestic economy and combat the consequences of the pandemic of the new coronavirus virus on the economy in BiH,” the Council of Ministers announced.

Previously, the Information on the initiative of the Republika Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for making a new decision on the mandatory application of preferential domestic treatment was adopted.

The measure was jointly agreed by the chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska and the Federal prime minister.
