Many Gaza Residents forced to flee again in search of safer Shelter

Many residents of Gaza, already exposed to continuous Israeli attacks for over a year, are now forced to flee once more in search of safer refuge.

The Israeli army has called for Palestinians living in the D5 area in the northern part of the Gaza Strip to evacuate.

In response, many Palestinians, including children, have begun fleeing to places they believe might be safer.

Some are using bicycles or horse-drawn carts, carrying only a few personal belongings, though many remain unsure where to go, as Israeli attacks continue throughout Gaza.

In violation of the United Nations (UN) Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire, Israel has continued its brutal offensive on Gaza since the Palestinian group Hamas launched an attack on October 7th, 2023.

Since then, around 42.200 people – mostly women and children – have been killed, and more than 98.300 injured, according to local health authorities.

Israeli attacks have displaced nearly the entire population of the territory during an ongoing blockade, leading to severe shortages of food, clean water, and medical supplies.

Israel now faces accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
