beckDuring the visit of flooded areas in the north part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marieluise Beck, the member of German Bundestag, said:

We are watching, in a state of shock, this irresistible flood, which 19 years after the war, bring Bosnia and Herzegovina in the state of collapse again.

It is unthinkable that the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina have to face with the dramatic loss again, even after the war wounds have not yet healed yet.

We hope that that the international community will provide an active support and will quickly provide a humanitarian aid. Moreover, the companies which are destroyed in floods need an immediate assistance. Also the insolvency should be prevented  in order to avoid loss anyway few jobs .

As Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship between Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the German Parliament , I express my deepest sympathy for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who have to face with this severe examination again.
