marriott_sarajevoThe world’s largest hotel operator and the third largest hotel chain the world, the US ‘Marriot’, decided last year to build a hotel ‘Residence Inn by Marriot’ in the center of the city of Sarajevo, on Čobanija.

According to Agency Patria, the project is worth 15 million BAM, with the partner support of ‘Southeast Investment Company’ (SEIC), and the planned implementation of the project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

However, as the B&H media agency Patria found out, in addition to this hotel, one more hotel on Skenderija is planned. The team from Patria Agency visited this location and became convinced at the scene that works are being carried out at an accelerated pace. Employees who were found at the site confirmed that this is one more hotel of Marriot. This is a multi-million dollar investment, and local firms carry out construction works. The end of the construction is expected to be in May, found out Agency Patria.
