The CEC report for 2026 was generated at 3:08 p.m. and includes 5,313 out of 5,642 polling stations (94.17 percent), so the final numbers for 3 p.m. may be slightly higher. By that moment, 916,269 out of 3,408,517 registered voters had voted.
The biggest drop was recorded in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where 24.78 percent of voters voted by 3 p.m., compared to 33.62 percent four years ago (-8.84 p.p.). In the Republic of Srpska, the turnout is 31.62 percent, compared to 39.02 percent in 2022 (-7.39 p.p.). In Brčko District, 24.62 percent of voters voted, which is 5.61 p.p. less than in 2022 (30.23 percent).
In Canton Sarajevo, 24.31 percent of voters voted by 3 p.m., compared to 35.77 percent at the same time in 2022, which is a drop of 11.46 percentage points and more than the average in the Federation of BiH (-8.84 p.p.). By 3 p.m., about 103,600 of the slightly more than 426,000 registered voters had voted, while four years ago there were about 147,000. Among the larger cities, Banja Luka (from 42.75 to 33.37 percent) and Zenica (from 34.94 to 25.93 percent) recorded a decline.
The biggest drop among all units is recorded by Istočni Drvar (from 60.62 to 21.81 percent), but it is a municipality with only 188 registered voters, so the changes there are statistically sensitive to a small number of votes.
