Before the Match against Gibraltar: Seriousness is a Key to Success

The national football team of BiH tonight, the 25th of March, will play the fifth round of the Group ‘H’ against the team of Gibraltar.

Selector Bazdarevic considers the seriousness as the key to success in this match.

“The team is very well coordinated, we have done everything to preserve the seriousness and responsibility, in order to play the way we played the previous match. There are some new players, but I think they know the principle and what we’re looking for from the first day and I think that there will be no problems. The match will be complicated if we do not do what we need to do,” said Bazdarevic.

“Gibraltar worked a lot, they most certainly watched our matches and got prepared. It is important for our team to do their job in the best way possible, but we have to be really serious, responsible and though. I do believe that we are a better team, despite the great respect that we have” said Bazdarevic, adding that he appreciates Gibraltar, but that everyone will have to play as if they were the best opponents.

Asmir Begovic, the goalkeeper of the team, said that the balance of attack and defense is crucial for the match.

“We are entering the match seriously and we need to win. Goal difference is not important now, we will try to play as good and as professional as possible. We have to win, and the result is important later,” said Begovic.

“You need to have the right solution and the balance of attack and defense in every match. We have to be smart with the ball, but we cannot be too opened because Gibraltar has its own qualities too. We have to be smart and play with a great discipline and then there will be no problems,” said Begovic.
