The Mayor of Istanbul made an official visit to the capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Thursday, Sarajevo Canton Prime Minister Edin Forto posted this information on his Facebook profile.
“The Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoglu, has arrived in Sarajevo. He has fulfilled his promise: our city is the first for him to visit as mayor, ”Forto wrote.
He explained that he would discuss with the mayor on Friday about deepening ties between Istanbul and Sarajevo.
“We are extremely honored with this visit and look forward to all the good that the cooperation will bring to the citizens of Sarajevo and Istanbul,” Forto said.
