The Mayor of Mostar Ljubo Bešlić received the US Ambassador to BiH Patrick Moon in the Mostar City Administration.

On this occasion, Bešlić and Moon spoke of the political situation in Mostar, especially of the failure to implement the ruling of the BiH Constitutional Court ordering the BiH Parliament to change the electoral law in the work that regulates the election of delegates in the Mostar City Council.

They spoke about the situation in the city and of the fact that the budget for the city for 2013 has not yet been passed, which would result in non-payment of salaries to budget users, very difficult functioning of the city and provision of services to citizens.

Therefore, it is urgent to find solutions in Mostar.

Mayor Bešlić and Ambassador Moon expressed their satisfaction with the fact that the security situation in the city is good, despite the evident protracted political situation in Mostar.
