Mayor of Prijedor officially resigned Today

Dalibor Pavlovic officially resigned today from the position of the mayor of Prijedor.

The President of the City Assembly, Mirsad Duratovic, confirmed that Pavlovic, on the prescribed form of the Central Election Commission of BiH, signed this morning to resign.

“Personal reasons are stated in the explanation for resigning,” Duratovic said.

The resignation will be sent to the BiH Central Election today.

“Then the CEC of BiH has a deadline of 15 days to verify the resignation, and to initiate the procedure for calling early elections for mayor. The deadlines are not earlier than 30, and not later than 90 days from the verification of the resignation,” Duratovic explained.

Until the election of the new mayor, his duties and duties will be performed by the deputy mayor Zarko Kovacevic, Srna writes.
