Mayor Puharic Welcomes Children Without Parental Care to City Hall for Catholic and Orthodox Easter Celebrations

The Mayor of the City of Sarajevo, Predrag Puharic, hosted a reception in Sarajevo City Hall on the occasion of Catholic Easter And Orthodox Easter for the children from the Home for Children Without Parental Care Bjelave.

 

“It is a special pleasure to share the joy of Easter and all holidays with our youngest fellow citizens,” said Mayor Puharic yesterday during the reception of children from the Home for Children Without Parental Care Bjelave.

 

Their previous meeting was at an Eid breakfast in their home, and they welcomed Catholic Easter And Orthodox Easter together in one of the symbols of Sarajevo.

 

“Holidays carry messages of peace, unity, solidarity, and sharing. We didn’t forget the tradition of egg dyeing and cracking; we tested our strength and felt the true gifts that holidays bring,” emphasized Mayor Puharic.
