Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka, received the architect and academician Ivan Straus today.
“It is my great pleasure to visit you and to have the opportunity to express my respect to you. What is important to us is that you have affirmed yourselves and the city of Sarajevo through your constructions, “Mayor Skaka said.
His ‘houses’, as Straus calls the buildings he designed, such as Holiday Inn hotel, UNITIC skyscrapers, Elektroprivreda building, three ‘towers’ – skyscrapers at the market center in Grbavica, represent the recognizable architectural features of the capital city of BiH.
