At a parliamentary seminar organized in the European Parliament on the topic “Fight Against Organized Crime, Corruption and Money Laundering” to be held in Brussels, there was a bilateral meeting between members of the Parliamentary Assemblies of BiH and the National Assembly of Serbia.

Member of the Committee on Defense and Internal Affairs of the Serbian Assembly Momir Stojanović spoke to the members of our delegation of the fight against organized crime and corruption under the institutional framework, and he used the opportunity to speak to them about the achievements of the Serbian government in this area.

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples Ognjen Tadić said that parliaments have a big responsibility in the fight against organized crime and corruption, and because of this it is necessary to continue to follow these problems and establish systems of defense that could react on time.

It was concluded in today’s discussions that in the interest of the public, parliamentarians have to improve mutual cooperation in this area and show their commitment to have executive bodies counteract organized crime and corruption.
