On the second day of the working meeting of the PARP assessment, the BiH Minister of Defense Zekerijah Osmić met with Frank Boland, who heads an expert team from Brussels. They spoke of the current and most important parts of the PARP questionnaire.
Representatives of the BiH Ministry of Defense and the BiH Armed Forces and the expert team from NATO headquarters in Brussels continued with the evaluation of the PARP questionnaire, and an emphasis was on the defense budget of the Ministry of Defense, the destruction of surplus weapons and ammunition, and perspectives and non-perspective military assets and the status of the document of the defense review.
At the end of the working meeting it was concluded that the results in terms of fulfilling the objectives of the Partnership were satisfactory and that in the coming period they will work on resolving the issues of surplus ammunition and weapons, the defense review document and registration perspective of military property that is a condition for obtaining MAP.
Boland said that NATO remains committed in its support of BiH on its path to NATO integration.
