A meeting of the FBiH President Živko Budimir with representatives of 5 political parties (SDP,SDA, SBBBiH, HSP and the NSRzB) was held in Sarajevo.

Even though there were not any concrete solutions, the participants assess this meeting to be a success.

The host of the meeting, the FBiH President said that the success was due in part to the fact that political parties with different opinions on solutions sat at the same table and spoke about the current political situation in the FBiH.

According to a statement by Budimir, the participants agreed that these talks should continue because most probably at the end of the month members of the leadership of both houses of the Federal Parliament will meet.

The meeting of the FBiH President with political parties was convened after last week’s session of the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament, when the current parliamentary majority voted for a no-confidence of the government.

Most of the delegates were Bosniaks, who were against such a decision. They initiated the issue of the protection of vital national interests, because of which the Constitutional Court of the FBiH will decide whether in this case the vital interest of Bosniaks was violated.

If the Court decides no, the decision on no-confidence will be considered to be adopted, said the Chairman of the House of Peoples Radoje Vidović.

However, the Constitutional Court is currently not complete in the judicial structure, due to which in the FBiH is the current issue of the appointment of 3 judges missing.
