Project for Development of Economic Infrastructure in BiH, financed by the EU, with the aim of development of business plans and conceptual designs for ten business zones in BiH, was the reason of yesterday’s meeting of KS Minister of Economy Emir Hrenovica with representatives of the Project Team for the support of the EU Strengthening and Establishing of Business Infrastructure for Improving of Competitiveness of SMEs (EUSESBI).
Minister spoke with William P. Lewis, Igor Grozdanić and Alma Džinalija.
They stated that the value of the is 1.5 million EUR and it should be financed from International donors institutions and banks.
” Strengthening of business infrastructure and improving the competitiveness is very significant for us, as well as the support of the EU for the development of SMEs”, said Hrenovica.
KS Ministry of Economy will together the Project team assess the current situation of the development of the economic infrastructure in BiH via a questionnaire, which is designed to collect the data for this purpose, as well as the formation of potential locations to support projects.
After collecting the data, in accordance with established criteria and strategic priorities of BiH at all levels, ten projects will be chosen and supported.
Also, at the meeting, they talked about possible joint cooperation for developing agricultural zones, technological park, and about the realization of the SMEs fair, which should be organised in October this year by the KS Ministry of Economy, said the Press Service of KS.
