Yesterday, in the building of BiH institutions in Sarajevo, second meeting of the Foreign Relations Board of Parliaments of BiH, Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro was held where they talked about the building the model of future cooperation and defining the issues to be tackled at the next meeting.
Participants of the meeting talked about the conclusions of the first meeting of presidents of Foreign Relations Boards of aforementioned countries which was held in Zagreb on 18 and 19 October 2012, about the Information on activities of Igman Initiative and models of further work of coordination meeting of foreign relations Boards of these four countries.
Representatives of the Regional Cooperation Council Jelica Minić and Sanjin Arifagić acquainted the participants of the meeting about the activities of RCC and Strategy of Development of SE European countries, and chairman of BiH commission Mirza Kušljugić presented the initiative ‘Energy policies- the role of the parliament’.
Also, ambassador of Sweden in BiH Bose Hedber talked about the them ‘Model of Parliamentary Cooperation in Energy Sector in Countries of Nordic Council’ and non-resident ambassador of Finland in BiH Pekka Metso talked about theme ‘Experiences of Finland in Using Clean Energy’.
Also, the study ‘Stuck in the past- energy, environment and poverty in Serbia and Montenegro’ was presented at the meeting
In the end, participants of the meeting adopted the conclusion about the discussions and they agreed on further steps in having another meeting.
Ambassador of Croatia in BiH Tonči Staničić and ambassador of Montenegro in BiH Dragan Đurović also attended the meeting.
