Member of BiH Presidency met with the UK Special Envoy for the WB

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the special envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for the Western Balkans, Stuart Peach, about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the conversation, Bećirović expressed his gratitude to the Government of the UK for its continued engagement in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the assistance programs for economic reforms, strengthening democracy and rule of law reforms.

Lord Stuart Peach pointed out that the United Kingdom, as a witness to the Dayton Peace Agreement, is an ally of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized that the United Kingdom will continue to support the preservation of the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The special envoy of the Prime Minister of the UK for the Western Balkans, Stuart Pich, said, among other things, that the United Kingdom supports the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The meeting discussed the improvement of economic cooperation between the two countries, with special emphasis on the importance of attracting investments from the United Kingdom to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
