Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić sent a congratulatory message to all the women of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day.

“International Women’s Day symbolizes the struggle of women around the world for the right to vote and equality,” said Komšić.

Although this date celebrates the achievements of women in society, politics, the economy and other social spheres, we must not ignore the challenges they still face in this modern world. We are obliged to work together systematically to improve the position of women in our society and further advance their rights.

“Dear women of Bosnia and Herzegovina, thank you for enriching our entire community and contributing to the overall betterment of our society. I wish you good health, happiness, and personal and business success. Happy Women’s Day,” it is stated in Komšić’s congratulatory message, the BiH Presidency announced.
