Members of 14th Class of BiH Armed Forces Take an Oath for Professional Military Service

armed forces BiHThe members of 14th class of candidates for professional military service took an oath at an appropriate ceremony in Basic Training Center of Armed Forces of BiH (BiH AF) and signed contracts to join AF.

 

In presence of high officials of Ministry of Defense of BiH and BiH AF, NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo and EUFOR, and members of military-diplomatic corps, family members, relatives and friends, 248 young soldiers took an oath, of which 20 were women.

 

After successfully completed basic training, they will be assigned to operational units of BiH AF across BiH, where they will continue specialist training in accordance with the new formation duties.

 

Participants of the ceremony were welcomed by Deputy Minister of Defense of BiH for Policy and Resources Marina Pendeš, who congratulated the young soldiers, emphasizing importance of hiring young staff and securing appropriate training so they can acquire military knowledge and skills in accordance with the mission of BiH AF and NATO standards.
