Members of the BiH Presidency received a delegation of the Parliament of France

presidency members franceThe Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Mladen Ivanic and BiH Presidency member Bakir Izetbegovic spoke with members of the French parliament, Pierre-Yves Le Borgan and Jean-Claude Mignon and Ambassador of France to BiH Claire Bodonyi, about the current socio-political situation and bilateral relations between the two countries.

Members of the Presidency informed the members of the French Parliament about the political situation in BiH and highlighted that it is necessary to work on positive initiatives, with the goal of bringing the country towards prosperity and the EU membership.

The Members of the French Parliament are visiting BiH on the behalf of the Commission for Foreign Affairs of the French Parliament, in order to inform on the state of the rule of law in BiH and the implementation of reforms and necessary conditions on the road towards EU integration.

Moreover, they talked about the active role of BiH in the Council of the EU and the forthcoming session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council.

On behalf of the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency Dragan Covic, the meeting was attended by adviser Tugomir Culjak.
