Members of BiH Presidency met with the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović and Željko Komšić, received the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the Western Balkans, Lord Stuart Peach, with whom they discussed the current political situation and regional relations.

They discussed the good and friendly relations between BiH and the UK and cooperation in numerous areas, the Presidency of BiH announced.

Gratitude was expressed for the UK’s engagement and commitment to our country so far, as well as the announced continuation of political, economic, security, defense, energy and other forms of support.

During the meeting, they also discussed BiH’s European and integration processes towards the EU and NATO, and cooperation with them. It was emphasized that the UK supports BiH’s aspirations to make progress towards European integration and works with European partners in terms of supporting BiH’s European agenda and Euro-Atlantic path, as well as implementing European values ​​and providing support for preserving peace, democracy, stability and prosperity.

They also discussed cooperation in the field of security and defense. According to Special Envoy Lord Stuart Peach, the UK will continue to provide support in these areas with European partners, in order to strengthen stability and security in BiH, AA writes.
