The Chairperson of the BiH Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year holidays, sent a congratulatory message to the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Cardinal Tomo Vukšić, the priests and clergy, and all believers in BiH who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar.

“On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas and New Year, to you and all believers who celebrate the most joyous Christian holiday of Christ’s birth according to the Gregorian calendar, I send sincere congratulations, with the wish that you spend the upcoming holidays in peace, health and family happiness. Let the Christmas messages of joy, love and hope fill your hearts and homes, and let the spiritual strength of the holiday help us persevere in all trials and strengthen the belief that togetherness, tolerance and understanding are the paths to follow. Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year 2023!” stated in the congratulatory message the Chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović.

Member of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić extended Christmas greetings to Monsignor Tomo Vukšić, Metropolitan Archbishop of Vrhbosna, and to all Catholics in BiH and the Diaspora.

“Your Eminence, I wish you and all Catholics in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the diaspora a blessed and happy Christmas. Let’s spend the coming days in good health, surrounded by our loved ones, sharing joy with our friends and neighbors. Sympathizing with each other, let us be a support today, and every other day, to those who are denied and need help. I wish everyone to spend Christmas Day in peace and well-being, welcoming the great holiday of Christmas,” it is stated in Komšić’s congratulatory message.

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Catholic holiday of Christmas to the Archbishop of Vrhbosna, Msgr. Tomo Vukšić, as well as to all Catholic and Christian faithful in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world.

“Your Eminence, Archbishop Msgr. Vukšić, on the occasion of the great Christian holiday of Christmas, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and to all Catholics in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.

I wish you to spend Christmas in peace, health, family happiness and well-being, together with your loved ones and friends. Let this Christmas be celebrated in the spirit of the centuries-old tradition of mutual appreciation and respect, deeply woven into the culture of Bosnian society. Once again, accept my expressions of respect and best wishes on the occasion of this holiday. Merry Christmas!” reads the congratulatory message of Denis Bećirović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
