Members of the BiH Border Police prevented the Smuggling of 33 Foreign Citizens

Members of the Border Police Unit of Bosnia and Herzegovina Velika Kladuša prevented the smuggling of 31 foreign citizens in the area of ​​Velika Kladuša.

Smuggling was discovered in the town of Šmrekovac, and due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that the criminal offense of human smuggling was committed, the incident was reported to the prosecutor on duty at the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.

Through subsequent work, the members of the BiH Border Police came to know that they are citizens of the Republic of Turkey, Iraq and Palestine. Further work on this case is underway.

The Border Police of BiH state that three days ago, BH was arrested near Zvornik. citizen A. Š. (1995), who, with the help of a boat, tried to transport two Indian citizens from the Republic of Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina across the Drina River.

Against BiH the citizen of BiH will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina a report on the crime of human smuggling, while the citizens of India were handed over to members of the Service for Affairs with Foreigners of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after which readmission was carried out under a shortened procedure to the Republic of Serbia.
